Well, I have been in a disarray since coming home from Canada. After party hopping, staying up late and jet setting, Mom and Dad have diagnosed me with a problem: sleep deprivation. Mom and Dad have been bouncing me to sleep on a yoga ball since birth and I. am. rebelling. No, I will NOT stay asleep when you bounce me and my eyes close, heck no, techno. Over labor day weekend, they bounced me for 2 hours. Yep- TWO hours. Did I sleep? No. Did they sleep? No. Who won that battle? They did...
So, right before I turned 6 months, Mom and Dad have moved me into my own room. Honestly, once I put my tummy down to sleep, I realized I didn't need to be in mom and dad's room anymore. I was just milking mom for milk in the middle of the night, waking her up 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 times a night. So, after learning how to fall asleep on my own, I have been sleeping so much better. I'm usually up only one or two times a night.

On September 17th, I decided it was time. It was time to army crawl. I have been grunting to move for a while now, using rolling as my prime mode of transportation. But now, I can do it. (And, now that I know I can do it, I'm going to take a break and pick it back up in October). Mom's been working on uploading a video of me, but Blogger is taking a long time to load. (Come on, Blogger, get with it!).
Mom and dad decided to start solid food this month, 2 days before I turned 6 months. I had this green stuff called avocado. It's supposed to be good for me. I don't really like it, to be honest, but I try to be a good sport and eat it. After that, I've had sweet potato, rice cereal, oatmeal, and I tried to like it. But until I had pears-I wasn't into the solid food business. But pears, they rock my world.

I am also cutting my first teeth. My bottom left came up and all of a sudden, I felt crappy again and my right started to come up along with it. I like to chew anything and everything in sight. I am like a puppy. Give me a chew toy, stat!

What is also really exciting is that Mom quit her job at the church so she can be a personal trainer. It's so exciting because while she is studying, she will be home with me (yay, boobie all the time!! woo hoo!!). Dad is going back to school, too, which means he'll be home with me more, too. I am excited to see both of them more.
